Week 6 Blog Post – Finalizing the Report & Preparing for Presentation

Week 6 – Wrapping Up Our Report and Getting Ready for the Presentation

This week, we had two days of class, but the lecturer gave us extra time to focus on completing our assignment. My group and I used this opportunity to finalize our project report. We divided the remaining tasks and made sure everything was well-organized and coherent.

Besides group work, I concentrated on completing my part of the case study. It was rewarding to apply the concepts we’ve learned so far into a practical analysis.

We also started preparing for the upcoming presentation next week. I practiced my part to ensure I can communicate our findings clearly and confidently.

What was interesting:
Seeing all our hard work come together in the report was satisfying. Preparing for the presentation gave me a chance to improve my public speaking skills.

What was difficult:
Coordinating the final edits and rehearsing as a team was a bit challenging with everyone’s different schedules.

How I can apply this:
This week reinforced the importance of teamwork, time management, and effective communication—skills essential for any digital business project.

Week 4 and 5- Self-Study & Independent Learning

Week 4 Blog Post – Self-Study & Independent Learning

This week marked the start of our self-study period, where I had to manage my own learning without attending class. I focused on studying three chapters that cover essential digital business strategies and concepts.

I also began working on the case studies assigned earlier. Without immediate access to the lecturer, I had to rely on my notes, online resources, and discussions with my group members to deepen my understanding.

What was interesting:
I found that self-study allowed me to go at my own pace and revisit topics I found challenging. The case studies helped me see how businesses apply digital tools in real situations.

What was difficult:
Staying disciplined and motivated without a structured class schedule was tough. Sometimes, clarifying complex topics without direct guidance was challenging.

How I can apply this:
Learning to study independently is a valuable skill for my academic and professional future. Collaborating online with my group also prepared me for remote teamwork in today’s digital work environment.

Week 5 Blog Post – Continuing Self-Study & Group Collaboration

In Week 5, I continued with my self-study of the digital business chapters and case studies. I made it a point to organize my study schedule better and set daily goals to keep myself on track.

Additionally, my group and I increased our communication, sharing ideas and progress through online chats and video calls. This helped clarify difficult concepts and allowed us to prepare our project more effectively.

What was interesting:
I appreciated how digital tools enable remote collaboration, which makes working together flexible despite different schedules.

What was difficult:
Balancing self-study and group coordination required good time management. Occasionally, differing opinions in the group meant we had to compromise and communicate clearly.

How I can apply this:
The skills I’m developing in independent learning and remote teamwork are crucial in today’s digital work culture. I’m gaining confidence in managing projects with less supervision.

Week 3 Blog Post (With Personal Challenge)

Week 3 – Starting Our Group Project While Battling Illness

This week was quite eventful and challenging for me. While my group officially started our project—holding our first meeting to plan, divide tasks, and set deadlines—I was unfortunately down with a high fever.

Balancing my health and responsibilities was tough. I tried to keep up with group discussions online and reviewed the case studies we were assigned for the upcoming self-study weeks.

What was interesting:
Despite feeling unwell, participating in the group meeting motivated me and reminded me of the importance of teamwork.

What was difficult:
Managing my health while trying to contribute was challenging, but my team was understanding and supportive.

How I can apply this:
This experience taught me resilience and the importance of clear communication within a team, especially during difficult times.
