FOODIES
I'm a finicky eater, but I've never really thought of myself as a foodie. I'm not the type of person that looks for new foods or likes to try out different recipes. I can, however, eat anything repeatedly without hesitation if I find something I genuinely enjoy. For me, it's more important to have the comfort of a well-known, delectable meal than diversity. When I discover something I enjoy, I'm content to continue enjoying it over and over.
I've tasted a lot of fine food and elaborate feasts, but nothing really compares to what my mom makes. Every meal she cooks is so exceptional because of the way she prepares it with love and care. It's the warmth and affection she puts into each dish, not simply the flavor or the ingredients. No matter how elegant or refined the food is, nothing compares to the comforting memories and memories that come from eating a meal prepared by mom. It seems as though the meal she prepares with affection has an additional magical touch that renders it priceless. She puts love and effort into everything she creates, and every taste brings back memories of home.
